Computed tomography in the diagnosis of the inferior vena cava syndrome caused by the retrocaval course of the right renal artery in combination with aortomesenteric forceps of the left renal vein, splanhoptosis (clinical observation)

A rare clinical case of inferior vena cava syndrome in a patient suffering from splanchnoptosis is presented. The syndrome was caused by compression of the vena cava by the retrocavally located right renal artery in combination with aorto-mesenteric tweezers of the left renal vein according to computed tomography with contrast enhancement.
