Synthesis of qualitative and quantitative strategies in researches of teaching activities

The article studies a problem of interaction between qualitative and quantitative strategies applied in the researches dealing with teaching activities. The paper discusses the possibilities and limitations in application of various general scientific methods in in educational psychology. The author considers the prospects of synthesis of the existing methods for the purpose of increase of the efficiency of research procedures in the field of education.
