Case system as a didactic means of shaping safe behavior of schoolchildren

The article examines the socio-educational as well as psychological and educational aspects of shaping safe behavior of an individual. As a result, there is identified a problem of finding didactic means to ensure the process of establishing safe behavior of schoolchildren. In the course of a pilot-search work was proposed a system of cases, which solves the problem of gradual, continuous and dynamic shaping of safe behavior of students. The author developed the structure and content of such cases which are implemented within the framework of school subjects (e.g. The World Around Us, Basics of Life Safety) and focused on teaching students safe behavior considering age groups. The article also provides examples of such cases. There are given didactic grounds for developing cases: system approach, problematic nature, sequence of educational activities, considering different educational achievements and students’ interests.
