Fairy and fantastic vaudeville of “Magicians” by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky: the continuation of the tradition of E. Schwarts

The article deals with the hypothesis of the influence of the fairy and fantastic vaudeville “Adventures of Hohenstaufen” by E. Schwarts on the genre and stylistic searching of Arkady and Boris Strugatsky. There is studied in details the final redaction of the script “Magicians” where the vaudeville origin is brightly expressed at the levels of the activity, conflict, characters, vocal and dancing organization of text and language comic. There is paid special attention to the elements of satire.
