Slavic world pictures: categorization and symbols

The article deals with the nominative peculiarities of the modern Slavic languages (Russian, Polish, Czech, Bulgarian and Ukrainian) as the reflection of the historical fates of the people and countries. There are analyzed the inner form of the Slavic first and second nominations and the methaphorics of the Slavic languages. There are considered ‘Pan’ and ‘szlachta’ in the Polish phrasemics and paramiology, ‘gentleman’ and ‘Cossack’ in the Ukrainian and ‘Turkman’ and ‘Haiduck’ in the Bulgarian as the symbols of the culture. The comparison of the fragments of the language world picture demonstrates the peculiarities of the Slavic world view.
