Words-symbols in the german and russian phraseological parallels

The article deals with the symbolic meaning of the components of the phraseological units expressed by the adjectives. There is conducted the analysis of the phraseological units with the words-symbols of the German and Russian languages, there are established the definite universals in the semantic motivation of the definite kinds of the phraseological units.
