Covid 19 and SMO accelerated the processes of formation of values, norms and cultural meanings of the emerging form of being smart culture. In this article, the author analyzes the origins of genesis, conditions and factors that change the ontological foundations of culture and its subject. Based on the study of the gaps in the smart space (economic, political, professional, creative, leisure), the author defines the essence of a new form of culture. The author also offers a definition of smart space. The processes and phenomena of the smart space are considered in the context of the impact of current problems the covid 19 pandemic and acute political contradictions. The meanings represented by these phenomena are specific characteristics of the emerging smart culture. The article analyzes the essence of the smart crowd as a subject of a new form of culture. The definition and classification of the main groups of this phenomenon is given. The author explicates the essence of the subject of smart culture through the analysis of changes in the system of life meaning coordinates. The structure of the ideological reflection of the smart crowd as a subject of culture is mediated by the following circumstance: a smart device smartphone is now built into the system of relations a person to the world, the Other and himself
