Social and philosophical aspect of social and cultural development of personality

The concept of “social and cultural development” is analyzed within social and philosophical approach to consider the components of the concept. Promising directions that have social and cultural importance for personality development and linked with selfawareness, communication and personal involvement in social and cultural activities are proposed. The importance of gaining personal social and cultural experiences determined by the philosophical preconditions of education and development of personality in social and cultural space as a system of social relations. The meaning of historical, socio-cultural and personal activity approaches is revealed to be basic in solving the problems of social and cultural development of personality.
