Socio-psychological aspects of assessing school nutrition by actors in the education system

The article reflects the socio-psychological aspects of assessment of school nutrition by the actors of the education system. The normative and legal documents concerning the arrangements for schoolchildren's catering are highlighted. An analysis of a regional survey of teachers, children and parents on the issue of school canteen meals was carried out. The study involved 1,600 schoolchildren aged 12-18, 4,889 parents and 800 teachers in the Saratov region, aged 36 to 49. The analysis reveals a number of contradictory assessments about the nutrition of children in school. The main conclusion of the study is that the caloric content of school meals does not fully correspond to the age requirements of children and adolescents in terms of nutrients and energy and to the principles of a rational balanced healthy diet. The results of the study can be used for high-quality organization of school meals, taking into account the opinions of students, teachers and parents.
