Social Orphanhood in Omsk: Pedagogical Aspects and Solutions

This paper examines the phenomenon of social orphanhood in the city of Omsk. The analysis of the etiological factors causing the occurrence of this problem is carried out, with an emphasis on individual and socially determined prerequisites. The impact of the social context on the psycho-emotional sphere, educational level and adaptive capabilities of children deprived of parental care is investigated. The professional difficulties of teachers and the resource availability necessary for effective work with this category of children are considered. The effectiveness of various forms of family arrangements for social orphans is assessed, and improvements to the socio-pedagogical system are proposed. Special attention is paid to preventive measures, the analysis of existing programs and the development of innovative approaches. The study analyzes expert assessments by specialists in the field of social pedagogy in order to develop strategies aimed at reducing the prevalence of social orphanhood. In the final part of the article, the results of the study are summarized and recommendations are formed for optimizing the social and pedagogical system of the city of Omsk.
