Social forms of work at the foreign language classes in higher schools: group work

The article discusses the main social forms of work at practical training of a foreign language in higher schools. The author analyses the fundamental principles of organization of the group work, conditions of this form of activities, its stages and features. Potential challenges faced by students during the group work and their solutions are described. The result of such an organization can be not only increasing of the knowledge, but also support of the motivation to learn a foreign language, the desire of students to work in a team.
