Social institutions as the basis of the regional management system

The authors of the work emphasize that today the role of regional governance in the federal structure of the mechanism of public administration in Russia is being strengthened. In this regard, the issues of regional governance are very actively covered in the scientific literature. In the framework of the designated field of research, an important role, according to the authors' team, is played by institutional activity in the formation of structures and values responsible for the effectiveness of regional governance. The authors of the article emphasize that social institutions determine regional policy, influencing the self-identification of the population, their ideas about power. The activities of social institutions within the framework of regional governance are aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens and are carried out by creating and developing information links between structural elements.
