Social capital of college students (on the example of students of the Rudny Polytechnic College)

The article presents the results of the study to determine the level of trust of students of the Rudny Polytechnic College (Republic of Kazakhstan) in the context of assessing the impact of the role of social capital on the e ectiveness of the educational process in organizations of technical and secondary vocational education.The relevance of the problem under study lies in the need to study the level of trust as one of the mechanisms for e ective interaction between a teacher and a student. Goals and objectives of the study. The purpose of the study is to identify the level of trust of students of the Rudny Polytechnic College and compare it with the average level of trust of young people in Kazakhstan in order to understand the current situation. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set:1. Based on a survey of RPTK students, to assess the di erent levels of their trust;2. Based on the statistical analysis of the World Values Survey data, identify similar indicators of trust for the youth of Kazakhstan aged 15-20 years;3. To conduct a comparative analysis of these indicators for RPTK students and Kazakhstani youth.Research hypothesis. The level of youth trust in Kazakhstan is relatively low, with the level of trust of RPTK students below the average level of trust of young people in the country.Research methods. Survey, statistical processing of data using the statistical package SPSS.
