Socio-cultural aspects of sports socialization of the individual and his post-sports resocialization of the personality in modern Russia

The topic of this article was chosen by the authors not by chance, because they devoted a certain part of their lives to playing sports at a sufficiently high professional level and remain connected with it to the present time, which allowed them to analyze the problems faced by athletes at various stages of their sports careers. The authors in this publication paid attention to the problems of resocialization, which are most often faced by athletes at different stages of their careers, forced to stop playing high-performance sports due to a decrease in results or due to injuries. At the end of the publication, they came to the conclusion that it is necessary to form a systematic approach to this problem in the interests of both mass sports and sports of the highest achievements.
