The article deals with the originality of French cultural background in the news sites system. It is noted that French culture is being exposed to the unification under the influence of globalization processes, however, extends its communication boundaries at the expense of other crops - bearers of French language French social and cultural codes: wit, politeness, respect to the native language as the national treasure, active life position and people solidarity in defending their rights and freedoms, - are pronounced in various informational materials, in particular, in users comments. The authors emphasize that new reality with its online media allows to promote the culture of the country on the world stage, to expand cultural exchanges and maintain cultural polylogue, however, the inevitable threats and loss of authenticity, national identity, if not to develop a digital strategy for the conservation of cultural heritage.
