Activity content for shaping future engineers’ readiness towards socio-professional adjustment

The article substantiates the necessity of shaping future engineers' readiness towards socio-vocational adjustment and, therefore, reveals the content of activities aimed at it within the educational process of higher education institution. Experience of solving this pedagogical problem in Penza State Technological University is presented. The following stages in the formation of future bachelors' readiness for socio-vocational adjustment are distinguished: motivational-adaptive, practical-technological, generalizing-reflexive. The general characteristics and content of the preparedness activities at each of them are outlined. Conclusion is drawn that the implementation of the devised program facilitates preparation of future engineers for successful socio-vocational adaptation in an industrial environment, thus satisfying employers' demand for personnel capable of rapid adaptation in productive work process and implementation of innovative activities in the challenges of modern economy.
