Diffusely growing median gliomas (DGSM) in children are highly malignant tumors with poor clinical outcomes. Surgical treatment, even in the volume of stereotactic biopsy, is possible only in 12 - 15% of cases due to the location of the tumor in vital structures, and rebiopsy during progression is almost impossible. These difficulties can be overcome with the method of "liquid biopsy", which allows to determine the presence of molecular genetic markers of cDNA specific to glial tumors in the blood plasma and track their dynamics during radiation therapy. The obtained results allow to predict the effectiveness of the treatment.
