Content and organizational bases of lecturers activity are revealed. The lecturer is considered to be an agent of managing the process of stability formation of professional motivation of students of pedagogical specialities. The description of the authors training course which is aimed at development of students idea in the area of professional motivation and skills of self-regulation of motivational states is presented.
