The article deals with the theoretical and practical aspects of teaching the younger schoolchildren of the comparative analysis of the works of the circle of the childhood reading. There are revealed the characteristics of the comparison of the fictional texts at primary school. There is presented the experience of the comparison of the works by the students of the primary school at the lessons of Literature reading. There is defined the role of the comparative analysis in the literary development of the younger schoolchildren.
