State of readiness of teachers of higher education organizations to work in the electronic information and education environment

The purpose of the article is to identify the state of readiness of teachers of higher education organizations to work in the electronic information and educational environment. The relevance of the issue is confirmed by the presence of social order and insufficiency of the revealed level of teachers’ readiness to fulfill the requirements formulated in it. The criteria characterizing the state of readiness have been defined, and the methods of questioning and testing adequate to them and to the research objectives have been selected: methods «Assess-ment of teacher’s readiness for development» by V. I. Zvereva and N. V. Nemova; «Presence of general ideas of a teacher in the ICT sphere» by M.S. Pletneva and N. V. Nemova M.S. Pletneva; «Realization of professional tasks of a teacher» by M.S. Pletneva; «ICT-activity of a teacher» by M.S. Pletneva; «Motivational test» by F. Herz-berg. According to the results of the diagnostic study the conclusion is made about the low level of development of components of readiness to work in electronic information and educational environment and its general state in teachers of higher education organizations.
