Status and problems of the region's competitiveness

The article is devoted to the status and problems of ensuring the competitiveness of regional economics. The authors gives the characteristics to indicators of competitive advantages and competitiveness of the region, provides statistics that characterizes the level of that kind of indicators for the regions of Russia. Particular attention is given to science, technology and innovative components of the competitiveness of the region.
