In the article the author gives a refined concept of crisis management based on its division into two processes: crisis management of enterprise's functioning and crisis management of enterprise's development. The allocation of these processes is possible due to the presence of two interrelated and simultaneously opposing tendencies of the enterprise's existence: functioning and development. The author considers crisis management should have a strategic nature of the measures to be aimed at strengthening the company's position and building competitive advantages, and finally, to be the key to the qualitative enterprise's development.
