Hodgkin's disease (C81) or Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL) is a site with a high survival rate or low mortality rate. Calculations of patient survival are usually carried out at the hospital level. For the first time, we calculated the one-year and five-year survival rates of patients with HL (C81) after the organization of the first population-based cancer registry (PCR) in Russia, St. Petersburg in 1993. Data on HL (C81) were summarized in 2006. Aim. The purpose of the study is to analyze the accumulated PCR data of the North-Western Federal District of the Russian Federation (NWFD RF) for a long period of time in patients with HL (C81) separately for the male and female population for each age with calculations of one-year and five-year observed and relative survival of patients and to evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing anti-cancer measures for residents of urban and rural areas. Materials and Methods. The material was the database (DB) of the PCR NWFD RF patients with HL (C81) including 6340 reports for the period from 2000 to 2019. Survival rates were calculated using a modified Eurocare program. Results. The study made it possible to confirm a low level (about 14,9%) of one-year mortality in patients with HL (C81) and a high one-year survival rate of 85.1%. A negative relationship between survival and increasing age of patients is clearly visible (up to the age of 30, this value is about 95-100%), in older groups up to 55% in men and up to 64% in women. Defects in establishing the stage of the disease have been identified. Positive dynamics of the detailed structure of HL (C81) has been established.
