Modern cooperation between Russian Federation and Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (political aspect)

The Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the Russian Federation and the DPRK signed on June 19, 2024, raised relations between the Russian Federation and the DPRK to a new level, returned them to the natural state that they have been for a long time and should be in the coming years and are based on the principles of international justice and a multipolar world, peace and equal security. The Treaty reflects the coincidence of the fundamental interests of our two countries. The coincidence of the fundamental interests of one of the largest capitalist states in the world and a small socialist country is a phenomenon that requires theoretical and practical justification. This article is devoted to the study of this phenomenon.
