Improving the bachelors of hospitality practical training in the context of procrastination problem

Topical issues of student’s procrastination and its negative consequences, in particular, to a reduction of motivation to continue education, a decrease in interest in the future profession and employment in the chosen specialty are discussed. One of the ways to prevent procrastination, according to the author, is the formation of students’ sustainable professional interest by improving the practical training of future Bachelors of Hospitality, in particular, an annual three-month practical training in hotels since the rst academic year. The results of the pedagogical experiment conducted at the Higher School of Service and Tourism from 2013 to 2017, which support the hypothesis put forward, are presented.
