Contemporary methods of subject-integrated teaching at the senior level

The pace of education and the ever-changing demands on the educated man today have made it necessary to develop appropriate skills that correspond to the conditions of modern society. School as the main institution of the education system allows to form required skills. It is responsible for the implementation of activities and organization of the educational process which results in the development of meta-subject skills, the central link between the modern man and his successful professional and life realization. Meta-subject skills at the senior level of education are implemented by introducing into the educational process various subject- integrated elements, including a system of appropriate methods at the methodological and technological level.The article aims to investigate the essence of meta-subject skills and their correlation with modern educational requirements, consider modern methods of subject-integrated learning with identification of the most effective of them. The currently applied methods and methods of subject-integrated teaching were analyzed in detail, among which the authors consider the most effective method of projects, the play method and the communicative method.
