Modern Pedagogical Technologies in Conducting Practical Classes in Law at a Medical University

This topic is relevant because today there is a need to fi nd new progressive methods, techniques, and technologies in the educational process that can improve the quality of teaching in higher education, especially if the future profession is not directly related to the discipline being studied. This article examines the implementation and application of active and interactive teaching methods and techniques in practical classes in the discipline “Jurisprudence” in the general and pediatric faculties of a medical university. Technologies that have proven successful in the educational process are described, and examples of the most frequently used interactive technologies are described and provided. A methodology for conducting practical classes using active and interactive teaching methods is described. It is noted that, particularly in medical schools, it is important for future doctors to use not only traditional teaching methods in the educational process, but also that the introduction of new progressive technologies is necessary to stimulate interest in legal issues. The article draws attention to the eff ectiveness, interest, and activation of the learning and cognitive abilities of future medical students when studying this discipline through the use of active and interactive technologies. Interactive teaching methods are also crucial in developing the general and professional competencies of future doctors.
