The development of bone metastasis during the disease progression often leads to pathologic fractures, causing neurological deficit, traffic restrictions and persistent pain which greatly impairs the quality of life of cancer patients. In the review are analised the modern concepts of diagnosis of skeletal system metastatic lesions using modern radiation methods, are presented comparative studies of their effectiveness.
