Present-day education trends: opportunities to realize teaching English for professional development on the basis of credit-modular system

In the article the author concentrates on the problem of teaching English for professional development on the ground of credit-module system. The research was based on Togliatti Academy of Management data. Credit-module system allows meeting the goals set by the Bologna Declaration. The author of the article considers a module to be a free, independent, and completed unit of educational process focused on training certain competences (knowledge, skills, techniques, methods). Credit is defined as a unit to estimate students' learning activity in the context of module technology.
