The specificity of value system development of students majoring in design at the modern technical university

The article deals with the educational environment of the modern technical university, in the framework of which the value system of students majoring in design is developed. The author considers the art and its sign system in the context of the axiology of education. The author believes that the system of means of expression constituting the art language peculiarity favours the development of design students' ideas of the aesthetic and their understanding of design activity as creative work under the laws of beauty.
