The specific ideas of friendship among early adolescents with intellectual incapacity

The communication of children at different age-related stages is the traditional research subject in psychology. Communication is an important factor in improving social activity in children with intellectual incapacity as well as their successful social adaptation. The purpose of the study is to identify the specific ideas of friendship and friend among early adolescents with intellectual incapacity. The research elaborates on the structure of ideas about friendship, namely its three components (cognitive, communicative and related to emotional needs). The author distinguishes the main characteristics of friendship as a special social activity. The results obtained can be used to diagnose the relationships in the children’s team while developing and holding remedial classes to improve interpersonal communication in children with intellectual incapacity and create their views on friendship.
