The article deals with one of the approaches to solving the issues of overcoming the communicative barrier in the process of oral communication teaching at the classes of the foreign language. There is analyzed the experience of the use of both the psychological and linguodidactic techniques at the classes with the first year students, allowing to cope successfully with this issue.
