Sonorous technique in choral compositions by S. Gubaidulina

Бесплатный доступ

The article describes some aspects of the sonorous technique in choral compositions by S. Gubaidulina. Various aspects of the influence of the sonoristics on the overall dramaturgy of two choral compositions - Alleluia for choir and orchestra and Dedication to Marina Tsvetaeva for choir a cappella - are reviewed. Various parameters of the musical texture and the influence of unconventional sound-making techniques on the dramaturgical structure are analysed in detail. The interaction of these components is analysed within the framework of the theory of self-organising systems or synergtics.
