Comparison of biological effectiveness of pulse and continuous radiation of 14 MeV neutrons on murine melanoma B-16 cell culture

Free access

The effect of pulse (10, 50, 75 Hz) and continuous radiation of 14 MeV neutrons in 0.5-5 Gy dose range on melanoma B-16 cells clonogenic growth was studied. Obtained results show no difference in biological effectiveness of pulse radiation of different frequencies. Clonogenic assay of murine melanoma B-16 cells did not show a difference between effects of pulse and continuous radiation modes within studied dose range.
