Comparative characteristic of the main sows of different breeds of the Irish selection

Experiments on studying of productive qualities of pigs of breeds large white (15 heads), Landrace (15 heads) the Irish genetics of the Hermitage company have been carried out in reproduktorny economy of OOO«TATMIT Agro» of Sabinsky district of RT. During experiment groups of sows of a different origin, age and live weight have been selected. In comparative aspect of a sow of breeds large white and Landrace not considerably differ on productive qualities. Safety of pigs to depriving is 0,4 heads more at breed ландрас and is equal 12,5 heads, at identical quantity of live pigs at the birth of 15 heads. I have shown studying of meat qualities of pigs of different breeds, the largest content of spine fat on 4 mm in the last edge and on 3 mm over 6-7 chest vertebras, and the mass of hulk for 3,5% at breed large white the Irish genetics, concerning breed Landrace.
