Comparative description of somatic cells content in cow's milk in the Vologda region for 2019-2020 in view of year season

The article presents the study results on somatic cells number in the milk of black-and-white cows. Milk samples have been taken in accordance with the monthly schedule of control milking and tested on «Fossomatic» infrared spectrometer. The device of FOSS company (Den- mark) on which the analysis of milk quality is carried out is a world leader in the production of analytical instruments. The main advantages of this include high measurement accuracy, obtaining several indicators at the same time. The data on the indicator under consideration have been obtained at three farms of the Vologda region for 2019 and 2020. Based on the results it is established that a research base is formed and a comparative description of somatic cells in cow’s milk is presented in view of year season.
