Comparative Analysis of Continuous and Batch Operating Modes of an Electrodialysis Plant

The article is devoted to a comparative analysis of the continuous and batch operating modes of an electrodialysis plant used in the dairy industry. The advantages and disadvantages of each operating mode have been considered, as well as the influence of temperature on the efficiency of the plant.Particular attention has been paid to the impact of temperature on the service life of membranes, which is of great importance for Russian enterprises on the ground of sanctions and restrictions on membrane imports.
