The means of assessment of beginning foreign language teachers' competences in the context of organization of tutorial support implemented by a university

The article discusses the problems of understanding of teachers' professional competences. The author describes some possible ways of assessing the development of beginning teachers' competences at the end of the tutorial support programme organised by a university. The choice of the described assessment means is substantiated.
