The article deals with the optimization of the process of foreign language teaching. There are presented the means directed to the intensification of the process of foreign language teaching. There is shown that the modelling, structure and realization of the lesson of foreign language reflect the methodological mastery of teachers. The cooperation of the teacher and student at the lesson comes to the growth of the part of independence of students during the work with the language and speech material and so optimizes the teaching process.
