Stability of quality during storage of developer kits RENMED-AUTO-PC for automatic processing of medical X-ray films

A study of the stability of quality of the developer type RENMED-AUTO-PC, designed for automatic processing of medical X-ray films, during long-term storage of the preparation kits was carried out. For this purpose, we studied the effect of five developers, kits of which were stored from 1 to 5 years, on ten medical X-ray films widespread in Russia. It was shown that the properties of the developer, namely: appearance of the sets, quality of hardening and X-ray sensitometric parameters of the films, has remained unchanged after five years of storage of the kits. This is an advantage of the RENMED-AUTO-PC developer kit, which consists of two concentrated parts, over foreign analogues, which usually consist of three parts and have a shelf life of 2 – 3 years.
