The article deals with the issues of the early childhood education of the foreign (German) language. There are described the basic standings and strategies of the model of the early childhood education of the non-mother language, the psychological and pedagogical conditions of education and the principles of the work with the preschool children from the position of the psychological and linguistic approach. There is paid special attention to the examples of the implementation of the strategies of the early childhood education of the foreign language in the exercises of the rhythmic-intonational exercises with the use of the gesture method.
