The article discusses the basic principles of memorizing words and expressions of both native and foreign languages and intensification of their use. The author analyses educational guidelines, learning strategies and social forms of work when building and expanding the foreign language vocabulary based on modern textbooks of German as a Foreign Language published in Germany.
