Public relations are gaining popularity nowadays. This is an extremely developing area. Now, competent and high-quality promotion of your brand, the creation of a positive image of the company is more in demand than ever due to the tough competition in the market. Therefore, there is also a demand for high-quality translation of texts in this area. To correctly convey the style and intention of the original text, the translator needs to consider the characteristics of each genre. The main issue of the work is identification of translation strategies inherent in a particular genre of PR-text in the field of the perfumery and cosmetics industry from English to Russian. The most important thing in this work is that those translation methods of linguistic means that have been allocated should preserve the pragmatic effect that was established by the author.
