Public relations or PR communication is currently gaining popularity. Today it is one of the most promising industries. In the current world situation, it is extremely important for political actors to gain trust not only among compatriots, but also among foreign recipients. Therefore, there is also a demand for high-quality translation of texts of this orientation. To correctly convey the style and intent of the original text, it is necessary to take into account the peculiarities of each genre. The main issue of this work is to determine the translation strategies inherent in a particular genre of PR text in the space of political discourse from English to Russian. It is important that the methods of translation of linguistic means that have been allocated preserve the pragmatic effect established by the author.
