The theoretical literature is analyzed, the scientific excellence of linguists and methodologists in the sphere of theory and methodology of teaching listening is studied. The strategies of development of auditive skills and abilities in the conditions of nonlinguistic university are described. The system of exercises, supporting the formation and development of listening skills at the different stages of education with the use of the authentic technical texts of aviation theme is presented.
