The findings show that China applies different cooperation models. In Kyrgyzstan, the priority is given to transport infrastructure and security due to its geographic position and high level of interdependence. In Armenia, cooperation is more cautious and limited, focusing mainly on the economic and technological sectors. It is deemed that the differences at China’s choice in the interaction model are shaped by geography, economic structure of partner countries, security conditions, and the role of Russia.
