. This article is focused on the peculiar properties, opportunities and pedagogical risks of the multicultural education in the educational environment of Armenia. It is substantiated that the problem of multiculturalism has long gone beyond the scope of its study in the context of the multicultural region and viewed from the position of culturological approach. Determination of the features and opportunities of multicultural education makes it necessary to consideration of undesirable consequences caused by the existing risks. As a basic risks of multicultural education are marked: strategical risks, personality risks, psycological risks, communicative risks, social-cultural risks.
