The development strategy of higher education institutions in Russia: features and prospects

This article is devoted to an education modernization question in Russia in a basis which creation of the mechanism of a sustainable development of an education system lies. The car-ried-out research allows to argue that the strategy focused on innovative development, satisfaction of modern educational and intellectual requirements of the personality, economic, social and spiritual development of the Russian society, should provide steady and forward progress of the Russian higher education institutions.
