Foreign direct investments structure and their distribution in the economic complex of the Volgograd region

In the article the dynamics of the foreign direct investments in the Volgograd region economy in 2008 - 2011 is observed as well as the degree of its participation in the capital assets' creation and renovation processes, provision of the regional labour force with foreign investment sources are analyzed. The relation between the volume of the incoming foreign investments and the gross domestic regional product, the average income per capita and the unemployment level is determined. Foreign direct investment structure by investor country is characterized. Regional structure and distribution of the foreign direct investment by types of the economic activity in the region are researched.
