The structure and content of the socio-informational culture of students in the virtual educational space of a modern university

The article is focused on the study of the content and structure of the socio-informational culture of the individual, the construction of its model from the standpoint of the nuclear approach, the characteristics of the virtual educational space of the university and approaches to its design. The selection and analysis of the definitions of the terms «culture»,«culture of personality», «information culture of personality» was carried out. The opinion is expressed that information-analytical skills are the core of social-informational culture.Two protective belts have been identified: social and digital, which are structured in accordance with the main subsystems of society. The definition of the concept of «socio- informational culture of the individual» is formulated. Two subsystems of the virtual educational space of the university are identified for the formation of the social and informational culture of the individual: teaching and educational. It is suggested that it is necessary to use cybernetic and homeostatic approaches when designing this space.
